This is page dedicated to Appliance Park Consumer and Industrial Division on General Electric. My information is based off of working here and a running knowledge of the park. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshball (talk • contribs)
Removing some non-neutral unsourced text
I just removed this text since it doesn't sound very neutral and is unsourced anyway:
Today's Appliance Park is nothing like that of the 1970s and before. The days of 25,000 employees have been replaced with 3,000. Outsourcing and Contractors have replaced construction crews, general maintenance, and janitorial duties. Once a self-sufficient facility where raw materials would enter and finished products left has been replaced with other facilities that make the components and ship them to AP to be assembled together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfisher (talk • contribs) 08:07, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Why non-neutral? Perhaps there is a tinge of nostalgia in the tone, but it seems neutral to me. Also, removing this statement makes the comment on the EMS reduction in force a dangling reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.121.22.10 (talk) 21:59, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Protection section
I can't tell what this means exactly: "The firefighters, EMS, Haz-Mat, and security force is the only one of its kind left in GE" - anyone care to elaborate on its original meaning? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfisher (talk • contribs) 08:19, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
