Distance of Gliese 1005

[edit]

Both this article (its table) and the article regarding the Closest Stars and Brown Dwarfs within 10 Parsecs are indicating the star is at 16 ly. The star appears to be more accurately placed at 19.5 ly. The text of this article may be accurate (it indicates 19.58 ly - although my own possibly-outdated calcs indicate about 19.4 ly). This article's table shows 16.3 ly, and a parallax based on such). I believe the table's data, and thus the 10 Parsec list, may be inaccurate. Could the table have incorrect data?
