What's that little butten on the right of the gameshark for? 69.205.176.185 16:29, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It brings up the gameshark main menu.--Iamstillhiro1112 15:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GameShark Code Prefixes[edit]

Can you tell me all the GameShark Pro code prefixes and what they stand for?--Mathsexpressions 01:20, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are a lot of types and they're different for each system. 205.206.207.250 05:50, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's been a while, but off the top of my head there are these and more;
80 - 8-bit write, 81 - 16-bit write, D0/D1 - Activator code (always follow by write code... GS 3.0 and higher only!), 50/51 - patch code for linear write codes, F0/F1 - (M) Must be on code (used for bootup), 88 - GS button code (same as activator "joker" variation... "When GS button is pressed, do this."). EE - Same as Must Be On, code address never changes though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.33.73.7 (talk) 18:38, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Massive cleanup[edit]

Changed a lot of information that was poorly written or just plain wrong. (N64 Gameshark Pro's internal software was excellent? Ha!) Much of the "How the GameShark" works described (incorrectly) the Game Boy version specifically, while the N64 Gameshark section contained poor grammar/wording, incorrect information, and even some link spam. It's also important that the device be referred to as Gameshark Pro, not just Gameshark, these are two different things!

We could use articles on the other systems too, but I don't know much about them. 205.206.207.250 05:53, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When I get some time, I will add some information on the Playstation and PC versions of the device. It's gona take me a bit. Cached Entity (talk) 02:26, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
