Other uses[edit]

"Other uses" is part of the article game camera. It seems it was removed in an attempt to orphan the image. Please don't make such major changes without first talking about them on this discussion page and getting consensus. --ChubsterII (talk) 13:26, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other uses is an important part of the game cameras history as many are not used for game. It more than warrants inclusion of a few lines and a small photo at the end of the article. This is not an original thought it was referenced extensively, there was no non-scientific claims made. If you feel it's a fringe theory or you can come up with "another use" please help by rewriting it not by removing it completely.--ChubsterII (talk) 21:05, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This back and forth deletion is getting a little silly we need to come to a vote so far it's 2 for 2 against. Anyone else, please?--ChubsterII (talk) 22:17, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Don't you mean 1 for, 2 against? Plus that nonsense was considered inappropriate for the Bigfoot article by a strong consensus of editors, so it clearly doesn't belong here. DreamGuy (talk) 18:01, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dreamguy is the one that was charged with gaming the system and socking not me. {{Sockpuppet|1=Victrix|evidence=[[Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/DreamGuy]]}} He spends a great deal of time playing on Wikipedia. If deleting "other uses" from this article is that important to him then have at it, I have no desire to play these silly games.--ChubsterII (talk) 00:41, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, somebody sure dug into the depths of Wikipedia history to drag out an old, baseless accusation someone made against me from ages ago. All you've done here is play games, but if you're done with it, great. DreamGuy (talk) 18:01, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I put it back after DreamGuy was suspended for making disruptive edits.--ChubsterII (talk) 00:13, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image--ChubsterII (talk) 10:21, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Practically every episode of the Bigfoot hunting television program “monster quest” used game cameras. This relatively new sport seems to be growing in the United States and it’s a popular use of this device even without the reward money factored in. The keep decision concluded that the image was significant to the article, I have no doubt that it is.--Windowasher (talk) 15:49, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Windowasher (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. -- This account came out of nowhere to defend the use of photos that do not meet Wikiepdia criteria for inclusion, possible sock puppet. DreamGuy (talk) 21:24, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And nothing on Monster Quest is considered notable in and of itself for mention on Bigfoot or Game camera. If that's your rationale for keeping it, it clearly does not meet Wikipedia standards. And the alleged keep decision was made by someone making false claims about the discussion. DreamGuy (talk) 21:20, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I gave an example not a notable citation. Sorry, I’m not a senior editor or a sock so take it for what it’s worth.--Windowasher (talk) 00:41, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

game camera[edit]

needs to redirect to remote camera. Not independently notable and the sourcing was not a RS. Just some company spam. Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:55, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
