Elite Four Member

[edit]

Hey, what about the Elite Four member? What are we going to do about that? Happy Mask Man 20:09, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Glacia still might not be the official English name. User:London UK/Name, 20:39, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Most likely it'll end in "eon" again, unless Nintendo wants to change from "eon" to "ia". Double Dash (Talk to me) 21:50, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm think the English name will be "Glaceon". Mainly because "Glacia" is the name of a member of the Hoen Elite Four.--67.87.66.127 23:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is already discussed on the talk page for Leafia; as it says there, there is an overwhelming chance that this creature will receive a name ending in "-eon" (e.g. Tundreon) - NP Chilla 11:44, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

Whats with the picture. It looks like it was made in Microsoft Paint.

it's a fanart someone made on Deviantart. I think it should be removed from the articleYeahYeah SureSure 09:10, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed 216.19.236.170 16:55, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well. Floramage! 18:20, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By Photoshop actually... =_= and not from Deviantart, as I was the one who made it. I don't care if its removed. Just thought it would be good to get a larger image up before the Sugimori art is released. We can revert it to the game sprite if everyone desires. DarkS Umbreon 17:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I say keep the game sprite (as it is official, and the art that's been replacing it is simply a blowup). A similar problem has been going on over Rampard's illustration (an anon has been continually removing it, but the image is from the official Japanese site according to someone reverting said anon). -Jeske (My name is not Jesse) 22:17, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, I created the pic. But since we have an official game sprite, it's better to use that. The art was created before the game sprite was released, so now is obsolete. Fin. DarkS Umbreon 06:50, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, DarkS, if you do not want this problem to arise again, you can always tag that pic for a speedy deletion so people won't feel the need to put it back. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 07:56, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

Even though the names of all the previous Eevee evolutions have concluded with the suffix -eon, this is speculation and we can't just assume that Glacia is going to be the same way. Wait until its name is confirmed before making this change. Ksy92003 05:02, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The 'official' names were revealed a few days ago (on March 14). Unless anyone has any reason to doubt the sources, all of the pokemon from Diamond and Pearl have known english names. Glacia's is indeed Glaceon (http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/newpokes.shtml). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.229.169.80 (talk) 13:02, 16 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Serebii has anonymous input, meaning it cannot be used as a source per WP:ATT. -Jeske (v^_^v) 13:04, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why change it? It is fine as-is!

It's best to wait for OFFICIAL confirmation (ie. Nintendo Power, pokemon.com etc.) to confirm the name. There is an overwhelming chance, admittedly, that the name will end with "-eon" - but even that's not enough. - NP Chilla 23:29, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Description

[edit]

Does anyone think the description of Glacia's appearance could be elaborated a bit further?- Floramage! 16:15, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing major

[edit]

Just thought that all of the straigth lines and plygons in Glacia's artwork resembled a snowflake. Think that is a valid concluson or subjective? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.185.192.83 (talk) 18:20, 15 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

If that were the case, the polygons would have more points.--67.87.66.127 20:26, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
