cultural heterogenisation?

I think it is highly doubtful if glocalisation actually "contributes to cultural heterogenization". Even if it leads to local differences, it cannot hide the fact that these are only minor and that the overall effect is indeed global, that is, more or less the same everywhere. So I would contest the idea of heterogenisation, even more so, as the term suggests a process, as if cultural heterogeneity did not exist prior to it... Fallada (talk) 13:56, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
