Hello. I'm an employee at GrandPad Inc. requesting to have a few inaccuracies updated in this article.
- Update the first sentence: "GrandPad is a touch-screen tablet for older people created by GrandPad Inc. an independent company based in Orange, CA."
- Remove this sentence: "It can be connected to a network of motion sensors and a wireless hub." -> this sentence is not accurate. It cannot connect to a network of motion sensors and a wireless hub.
- Correction: The company was co-founded by Scott Lien & Isaac Lien.
- Correction: The company was not started in the Mayo Clinic Business accelerator. It was started at the Chapman University Launch Labs. GrandPad later became associated with the Mayo Clinic Business accelerator, but it was not started there.
- Update: "The firm was established in 2014 and has raised more than $25 million."
- Correction: "13 apps are built-in, including a simple web-browser. The Family Administrator can customize which apps appear on the device."
- Update: "Jeff Huber, the chief executive of Home Instead, and John Merrick, the CEO of Consumer Cellular, on are GrandPad's Board of Directors."
