Just a synonym for Garganega?[edit]

The VIVC entry for Grecanico Dorato used as reference by de:Grecanico Dorato doesn't exist (anymore?), and "white Grecanico" (Grecanico, Grecanico Bianco and Grecanico Dorato) is simply indicated as synonyms of Garganega. Perhaps this is a recent finding? Tomas e (talk) 18:05, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Found the 2008 study which confirmed an earlier 2003 DNA analysis: ‘Sangiovese’ and ‘Garganega’ are two key varieties of the Italian grapevine assortment evolution, M. Crespan, A. Calò, S. Giannetto, A. Sparacio, P. Storchi and A. Costacurta, Vitis 47 (2), 97–104 (2008), so I converted it to a redirect. Tomas e (talk) 18:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
