[edit]I found it interesting that the green hairstreak has the largest range of food plants compared to other butterflies in Britain. It is because I have a large appetite as well. I really like the contrasting colors of the butterfly’s upper and under side; how one is brown and the other green, respectively. Part of the butterfly’s scientific name means beautiful eyebrows and I thought that was strange for a butterfly to be named that. I thought the article included some nice photos of the butterfly. It is very clear that this article is in the beginning stages compared to other wiki pages. More information can be throughout article. This article could be organized differently, for example, habitat and distribution could be moved farther up and not at the end. I think that life cycle and behavior can be separated and unpacked better. There is no lead section in the article and I think that if it was added then it would help could give more insight to what type of butterfly this beside the fact that the underside is green. Another category that can be added is information about conservation because it was stated that colonies in the United Kingdom have been lost so I think it would be pertinent to add what actions are being taken t keep the species alive. Another category that would be useful to have is the mating system between sexes and in sexes. It is because I would like to know how males interact with females to be chosen by them. Also, I would like to know how males outcompete each other to win the attention of a female. Other comments have not been made on this article, which means that only the minimum amount of information was found and used. This article has been rated Stub-class and low-importance. However, it has the potential to be a great article. WAdekunle (talk) 05:45, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
