Drinking Song[edit]

I watched this film over the summer, and I was wondering what it was the NCOs were singing while distracting the Bofors crew. "Sing Glorious, Victorious, one pint of beer among the four of us." All the google searches I've done just come up with recent drinking songs and the conversions between gallons and pints. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rebelyell2006 (talkcontribs) 20:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't know what the song is exactly but they sing "Glorious, Victorious, one pint of beer between the four of us. Glory be to God, there isn't any more of us 'coz one of us could drink the bleeding lot!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:13, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

There's a similar song at The Goddamned Dutch, I've always thought of it as a British Army song - maybe based on an old hymn tune or music hall tune. DuncanHill (talk) 12:18, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
I will ask at the RefDesk. DuncanHill (talk) 12:21, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Ekland and Sellers counter-sued for $4 million claiming the Fox suit caused him "mental distress and injury to his health".

But who won the case?
