Is b Cen really a single star?
[edit]The article states that this object is a single star. However, the quote the author is referring to is an analysis of multiple stellar systems which again is based on a catalogue that lists multiplicities of three and above. It seems, binary stars are not included in there. There are other, older papers, that rather point to a binary star. As mentioned in Tab. 10 of https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1968ApJS...15..459G/abstract HD 129166 has variable radial velocities which points to a companion.
