[edit]To the deletion of "Citation needed' deleted at 'Knowing the complete name of Halef is considered fundamental for a true Karl May fan.'": I, being a german, can safely say this: Everyone of my playing companions since the age of five years, regardless of being boy or girl, has learned Hadschi Halef Omars name by heart. I can say it even when drunk; this being sometimes used as a test for being drunk (if too drunk the 'ibn' will be misplaced). My parents, being May readers, will get the name together when pressed, and also my grandparents which have read May also.
There are things being true without citations, this being a striking example. You will not find a citation about water being wet, perhaps; and you will never find a citation about Hadschi Halef Omars name and Karl May readers.
So this 'citation needed' has bothered me, and so I have deleted it.
Best regards - a Karl May reader, now and then.
