Replace XlinkRecessive.jpg with X recessive carrier mother.svg? Suggestion Suggestion
[edit]When reading this article for the first time, I had to pause for some time while I examined the image: XlinkRecessive.jpg and tried to convince myself that I understood what it was trying to portray. The problem for me was that the trait is white while normal is colored. This is counter-intuitive enough to impede immediate understanding. I thought to re-work the image and use color for the trait - not too difficult for SVG files. But then, poking around to see how the topic was handled elsewhere, I found that this had already been done. The trait in the image X recessive carrier mother.svg is red. The fact that the name of this file includes 'mother' is irrelevant because it is a derivative of Replace XlinkRecessive.jpg and conveys the same exact information. Any opinions on swapping images? - Marital status is nothing to do with heredity so I have changed the bit under "Genetics" that said haemophilia A is only possible in females "if a carrier female marries a haemophiliac male". 86.159.125.202 (talk) 14:49, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
