John Cleese[edit]

This very Wikipedia article is mentioned in John Cleese's autobiography "So, Anyway..." (2014):

"I'm amused that the Wikipedia entry for Half a Sixpence says that I played 'a small but crucial role'. 'Small' I wouldn't argue with; but the 'crucial' aspect of my role - the swindling and the absconding - took place in its entirety after I had left the stage and gone off to read, and so I wouldn't claim much credit for it." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.157.75.244 (talk) 05:34, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

There has been a complete re-write of this musical by Warner Brown as a vehicle for the recent UK tour starring Gary Wilmott. New songs and a different script but that is all I know. Can anyone edit the main page to include all this new information?? 2.96.87.161 (talk) 15:55, 12 December 2010 (UTC) Roland[reply]
