How can it be "low" importance? I saw Joan Jett play there once in the 80's. Um, nevermind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.188.187.72 (talk) 05:37, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Please add source for statements.
[edit]If you are the author of the statement, "Hammerjacks is now owned by HammerHouse Designs LLC, Baltimore Native, Kevin Butler. obituary for Louis J. Principato is false. He is not dead. In fact alive and well" please cite the sources of those 2 pieces of information. There are a couple newspaper articles that state that the Principato who owned Hammerjacks died. There should be a link to legal notices that you can use to support the ownership claim.Smm201`0 (talk) 19:26, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Louis J Principio Jr is dead. NOT PRINCIPATO. Louis Principio III is alive and well. There is a link to the original obituary on that clearly reads LOUIS J PRINCIPIO JR died in 1991. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.11.212.38 (talk) 21:06, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
I cleaned up the references and links some. I also fixed the name of the owner to JR not III. Louis III is alive to the best of my knowledge but it was Jr who owned and ran the bar. The location was sold and the trademark lapsed. It was bought by Butler. The information on the new ownership is referenced by 2 newspaper articles. The article in the Sun contains information that could be added if someone cares to. MrBill3 (talk) 18:34, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
- The article does not make sense..I`ve been to a few shows there..it was really just a head bangers watering hole..the article describes the original location then says something about a 3rd incarnation..what happened to the 2nd? I`ve never heard of it and I lived in Baltimore for years. 50.89.230.19 (talk) 04:02, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
I worked there back in 1988, which was the location at 1101 S. Howard Street. The first location was on Charles Street, now called Nobles, it's i Federal Hill. The third location was more of a dance hall, that didn't last too long — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.112.75.238 (talk) 17:17, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
