I'm wondering if there is a complete list of Han's work's somewhere. The article uses a lot of different websites to compile a list in the "Artist career" section. Awadewit (talk) 18:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)- Comment: I haven't come across one yet. However, I note there is a self-titled 2005 book. Let me visit the library and see if there is a list in that work. — JackLee, 19:33, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- Comment: The book Han Sai Por (2005) does mention a number of the works, but it doesn't appear to be a complete list. — JackLee, 08:48, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- Broad in its coverage
Most of the statements about Han's art are from her. What have art critics and scholars said about it? This is the weakest part of the article, in my opinion. Are there reviews of her shows, for example, that could be used here? Awadewit (talk) 18:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)- Comment: Art criticism isn't terribly well developed in Singapore. Let me have another look at the news articles I obtained through Factiva. However, my impression after having gone through them once was that there weren't any. — JackLee, 19:33, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- Comment: I've added some critical commentary about Han's work. — JackLee, 08:48, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! Awadewit (talk) 02:00, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral
However, Han's oeuvre should not be underestimated. - I'm not quite sure who is underestimating her works or why this needs to be stated. Awadewit (talk) 18:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)- Comment: I was trying to say that Han's work isn't limited to her stone sculptures with organic forms that she is probably best known for, and to provide a bridge between the discussion about her organic sculptures and her other work. But perhaps this is unnecessary editorializing on my part. Can you suggest some alternative wording? — JackLee, 19:33, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- How about: "Beyond her stone sculptures which embrace organic forms, she has also designed geometric pieces." Awadewit (talk) 23:15, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. — JackLee, 08:48, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
