Additional Citations[edit]

As of now I only copied the website/online citations from the German wiki article. There is a total of 28 references - a few of them from historical sources. I am currently trying to get access to the other references used to add them, if anyone wants to help feel free to do so. Malimaan (talk) 22:12, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the article. There are serious concerns on the German Wikipedia about the veracity of some of the content and the article has a maintenance tag that goes something like this: In particular, the information on Dincklage's activities in France is largely based on sources that do not meet the Wiki [sic] quality standards. There seems to be a lack of well-founded historical research into his person, and, otherwise, the name of Hans Günther von Dincklage primarily appears in the context of profuse publications about Coco Chanel. However, these often turn out to be just Kolportage [fictionalized accounts / rumors] without any citations of reliable sources. The latter seem to be conspicuously absent here. Overall, Dincklage's actual importance seems to be far exaggerated here. Thanks for pointing it out, I still had the old interface for the German Wikipedia and didn't see the maintenance tag until I (very belatedly) realised I could switch to the newer interface. I'll keep a look on the German page and if they update with any new (hopefully more reliable) sources I will do so here as well. Malimaan (talk) 23:40, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
