For all intents and purpose, Hardee's and Carl's Junior a pretty much the same restaurants these days, just with a different name depending on which part of the country you live in.

Since the two companies merged, so too largely have the restaurant menus, save for a few regional difference. If you on the west coast or the New England area, It's Carl's Jr. in the midwest and south, it's Hardees. Wyoming and Oklahoma have both. Thus, currently, there is little differences between a Carl's Jr and a Hardee's. Thus this article should talk about the history of the Hardee's as a stand alone restaurant chain and then talk about how the menus have been since merge with between Hardee's and Carl Jr's (mostly), after CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. bought Hardee's. The way the article is currently makes it seems as if they are a distinctly different restaurant chain from Carls jr. and that CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. just owns them, which is not exactly the current situation. Here is an article explaining they few differences that currently exists between the two chains (it's mostly name differences): http://mentalfloss.com/article/63291/whats-difference-between-hardees-and-carls-jr --Notcharliechaplin (talk) 00:56, 20 May 2018 (UTC)
