my own link, but I think people would be interested - lots of descriptions and photos. Add if you think it's relevant. AlaskaTrekker 00:08, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with this article[edit]

Most of this article is either unsupported or outright wrong. There is no official definition of an icefield, so the number four is not based on anything, the NPS website in the citation is completely unrelated and does neither mention the number of icefields in the US not anything else from this article. --h-stt !? 18:13, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, by now I know, where the number four comes from: There are four objects in the GNIS-database that are called icefield or ice field. That's hardly a useful definition in the way it is used in this article. Please go thorugh the whole thing and delete everything that is not substantiated by reputable sources. --h-stt !? 18:57, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the three "References" links, the second isn't working anymore while the third leads now to a whole different website (eHow, a fashon blog). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.10.189.53 (talk) 05:00, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The first of the "External Links" doesn't work either and the second leads to the same article as the first link of the "References". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.10.189.53 (talk) 05:03, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
