How is the rating justified?

"This article has been rated as B-Class on the project's quality scale."

This article does not have any inline citations, and very few references otherwise. How can the rating of B-Class be justified? --DThomsen8 (talk) 01:57, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

The Contract Bridge wikiproject doesn't yet rate articles, but I would call this a Start. Maybe a B for Sailing/Yachting?
WP:WPCB does now rate articles (Start, above). I bumped it down from Biography B to C. ... [User:P64]
Bridge
Vanderbilt was also a card game enthusiast who, in 1925, helped develop the scoring system by which the game of contract bridge supplanted auction bridge in popularity. —not false but exceptionally understated

I expanded the bridge coverage with some text and refs in section Bridge (Vanderbilt *Cup*; WBF Vanderbilt Trophy with formal refs; The Bridge World hall of fame) and with the new section Publications --where I listed (all?) 6 books per LCCat and WorldCat.
