Rationale[edit]

I created this disambiguation page because of my frequent confusion over which bill was being called the "heath care bill" at any given time. Before this disambiguation list, "Health care bill" redirected to one page, first the House bill, then the Reconciliation bill, then the Senate bill (the latter two are expected to become law). I didn't think WP:PRIMARYTOPIC applied to point the redirect to just the Senate bill, since all three pieces of legislation were covered in the media.

Although the bills do not have similar names, which commonly warrants disambiguation pages (WP:DPAGES), all three bills have been called "health care bills", as have several in the past. This is in the same vein as Stimulus bill (disambiguation), which also lists legislation with dissimilar proper names, though referred to by the same general name ("stimulus bill"). ——Rich jj (talk) 13:55, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
