National audits[edit]

I am quite confused about what counts as a national audit. I've added the things listed by NHS Digital which appear to be national audits^[1], but there seem to be several more relating to diabetes. Its not clear whether they are properly included in the diabetes audit. And I'm not sure whether the National Confidential Inquiries are properly described as audits, or whether HQIP manages them.
