Self-publicity
[edit]4.5 square kilometres does not, in anyone's imagination, constitute a 'forest'.
Consistent with being unsubstantiated, this is clearly a self-publicising article.
Surely Wikipedia doesn't intend everyone who owns 4.5 square kilometres of land and puts it to a common use, or leaves it as such, to have a Wikipedia article publicising them? 86.177.29.198 (talk) 19:54, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- The article is very poor and does not come close to accurately describing what the charity has done, which has been to plant many thousands of acres of farmland with native trees, mostly within two substantial areas. It has bought and planted up land that stretches from Alcester to Studley, for instance. It has bought a small amount of ancient woodland; mostly the forest is made up of woodland planted within the past 20 years, with an acceleration of planting since about 2020. I would like to have a crack at writing an article, but not at the moment. Feldonian (talk) 10:57, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- I did my best fix the article but more work is needed. My knowledge of the subject is insufficient to do a full rewrite.
- I'd also like to see more citations and sources other than their own site. Cloweee (talk) 17:15, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
