GA on hold

[edit]

The article looks good, but I have a few concerns.

- "It was co-written and co-produced by Pharrell." Co-written and co-produced with Madonna?

- Maybe you could write a little bit about the background of Live Earth? Like, briefly describe what it was all about. Maybe one or two sentences, a brief background of it.

- "The idea of the song's lyrics is preaching in nature telling that purifying one's own soul can open the way to changing the minds of others." Could you maybe re-write this sentence? Try reading it outloud and see if it sounds and looks off to you, too.

- ""Hey You" was not released as a proper single, and had virtually no radio airplay anywhere in the world. It was only promoted through the official Live Earth website and the July 7, 2007 concert in London. There was no physical single released. However, it managed to chart in countries like Canada, Sweden and Switzerland based purely on downloads." Does citation 12 cover all of that? If not, please source it. :)

- "On May 17, 2007, Warner Bros. Records confirmed that Madonna will perform the song on June 7, 2007, at Wembley Stadium for the London stop of the Live Earth concerts." The use of "will" makes it sound like it hasn't happened yet. Maybe you can change it to "would"?

Until my concerns have been addressed, I will place this article on hold. Please leave me a message on my talkpage when you have addressed the concerns, or if you have any questions. Thanks, and good luck! CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
