justification of article
[edit]As I see it the whole article is just a reproduction of the "History" section of the Down syndrome article. As such I think it might be worth looking for differences, merging this article with that section, and then making it into a redirect to that section (so if anybody feels like in future, they can expand on it. Ok, I've checked, and this is the only meaningful sentence that is additional to the section in the Down syndrome article: "Idiocy was a medical term used at that time to refer to a severe degree of intellectual impairment.". I don't think that justifies the whole article. So I'm changing it to a redirect to the section in the main article, and removing the link from there to here.
