The information on this page is incorrect. Hollis Hills is the 11427 area: it is part of Queens Village. In other words, it is south of Union Tpk. American Martyrs Catholic Church, the Windsor Park Branch of the Queens Borough Public Library, and P.S. 188 are all in Oakland Gardens (11364). They call themselves Hollis Hills, but they aren't. All one needs to do is look at a phone book and one will see the zip codes broken down area by area. Or a map of Queens. I find it dispiriting that this page duplicates the mistakes and misconceptions that arise when people desperately try to re-zone their neighborhoods. I live in Oakland Gardens, so I know what I'm talking about. And yet, I don't feel comfortable entering the body of the text and correcting its author: it would be rude and inappropriate. Is there anybody who can suggest how this situation can be rectified? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmacewen (talk • contribs) 18:23, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Correction
[edit]The other poster is incorrect. Hollis Hills is part of Oakland Gardens but encompasses both the 11364 and 11427 zip codes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.104.155.169 (talk) 18:05, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
The photo of a War Memorial that is shown with the article is not located in Hollis Hills. It's on Hillside Avenue & 193rd Street, which is Hollis, an entirely different neighborhood. 69.74.179.10 (talk) 13:24, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- No, it's correct. Epicgenius (talk) 02:24, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
