Split[edit]

Half-Elves are a core race in the D&D series. If Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs can get a page, then I see no reason why Half-Elves shouldn't. Harry Blue5 (talk) 11:27, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Go for it, dude. Restore from here, if you do. 24.148.0.83 (talk) 11:36, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

The meaning of the word "Lycanthropy"?[edit]

So, is it common among D&D types to use the words "lycanthropy" and "lycanthrope" to refer to any kind of shapeshifting, not just that involving the appearance of wolves? rowley (talk) 16:00, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Typically, no, shapeshifters are shapeshifters. There is a specific classification of creatures usually determined to involve a curse, under which "lycanthropes" fit. Werewolf is the most commonly known such creature, although there are also werebears, weretigers, wereboars, wererats, among others. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 16:13, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
