An ampacity table could be nice, if someone has the knowledge.

  • actually the ampacity, or current carrying capacity, is dependant on a number of factors beyond just the conductor size, including voltage used, insulation material, insulation thickness so is not mentioned in this standard.
  • However there is a useful table at http://www.energy-solutions.co.uk/cable_conductor.html. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hlovdal (talkcontribs) 19:58, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

I've included a qualitative summary of the information contained in the document —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.94.33.30 (talk) 06:36, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Also, I would add further quantitative information from this standard as a refference but am unsure as to whether this is legal (I'm thinking copyright infringement as the standards normaly have to be purchased from the IEC (or equivalent)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.94.33.30 (talk) 15:45, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
