This page should be renamed, and possibly revised, to reflect its focus on the 27k array technology, as opposed to 450k array technology. Since the latter has become increasingly popular lately, this is a very important distinction to make. It should also be emphasized that Infinium I assay tech is used for 27k, whereas both Infinium I and II assay types are on the 450k array. Another page focusing on the general theory and objectives of methylome arrays and experiments may also be necessary - this page is insufficient in its form to act as such an article, though its title does suggest that it does. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Metamaden (talk • contribs) 23:37, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
This page is out of date. I agree with the other user who notes that this page's title is general but the information relates only to the 27k. Perhaps this page should be expanded to include not only the 27k but also the 450k and 850k chip technologies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DMLapato (talk • contribs) 21:34, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
