Possible corrections?

[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to drop by with some suggestions to help improve this article. If you visit Wikicommons, there's a picture under the search 'phagocytosis' that could help you illustrate the points in the article including phagosomes and phagolysosomes. The information under the Occurrence subheading could be put into a chart to make it more neat. I think autophagic intracellular digestion could be explained a little bit more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kabio401 (talkcontribs) 17:39, 17 November 2016 (UTC) Hi, here a few suggestions with regards to improving this article:[reply]

  • Phagolysosome formation actually occurs during phagocytosis and not following it.
  • Maybe you could delve into the process of intracellular digestion in Amoebae , Paramecia and Euglena a bit more.
  • I noticed a spelling mistake of 'paramecium'.

But overall,good job. DEMO-E (talk) 10:40, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DEMO-E, All the works from your suggestion were from the previous editor. I have been focusing on the two different types of intracellular digestion, which are autophagic and heterophagic intracellular digestion. However, thank you for your advice, I would come back and look more into it when I am able to. Le Van Luong (talk) 05:00, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Discription

[edit]

From the beginning, the article just included the brief explanation of intracellular digestion without mention about how it works. I have improved what the previous editor, which added more information about intracellular digestion that included the function of autophagic and heterophagic digestion and two images. Due to what I added, audiences can visualise how it works. In future improvement, this article can be concentrating on expanding the function and few term that is clear.
