Ambiguity?

I can't find an official list of the Jinmeiyō kanji of the most recent version. Some sources use use the characters 俠俱吞摑焰簞繡繫萊蔣蟬蠟醬顚鷗 (possibly 正字体), like this wiki page (also the Japanese version) as well as this page (also very not official) as well as this community project. On the other hand, most sources I find contain the simpler more contemporary characters 侠倶呑掴焔箪繍繋莱蒋蝉蝋醤顛鴎 (possibly 新字体), like http://www15.atpages.jp/sa2700v/hyogaij-his.htm, cited on the Japanese version of this page.

This Q&A site gives a nice list of old/new forms, however it fails to distinguish anyhing. For example, 猪/猪 are both in the Jinmeiyō: one directly and one in the 205 'permitted variants'. Then 俠/侠 is only present once, and depending on the source you find one or the other. --Zom-B (talk) 19:40, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

The opening of the article is incorrect: level 2 of the Kanji Kentei tests only the 2,136 Jōyō Kanji. However, the junior level 1 tests the 2,965 characters of the JIS X 0208 level 1, which includes all of the Jōyō in addition to most of the current Jinmeiyō Kanji (though a few have been added to the Jinmeiyō list in the years since the 0208 was defined). There is a complete listing of the characters included in each level here. Level 1 proper tests 0208 level 2 as well for a total of 6,355 kanji, including all of the Jinmeiyō. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.79.238.51 (talk) 12:55, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
