  • Support with a few suggestions.
1. in the opening paragraph, STC "helped to rewrite" could just as easily be "helped rewrite"
2. The second paragraph could probably use less plot summary and give more of an overview of the poem itself; I just feel that the "Poem" section would be a better place to get into the particulars of the plot and the lead should focus more on more important aspects.
3. Third paragraph: I am not sure what the rule is, but it seems "republican" should have a capital R; though if used as an adjective not describing a specific political stance, it could very well go with lower case.
4. Background, first paragraph: "led to him beliving" would probably look better as "led him to believe".
5 Background, last paragrah: Is it possible that we can have a desription as "possibly Joesph COttle" is used; I am unaware of the circumstances, but it seems like it should either be understood or an explanation should be given as to the uncertainty.
6 Poem, third paragraph: "Joan sends out a messenger to offer " would "Joan sends a messanger" not be easier?
7 Themes, first paragraph: "to those like Southey" seems a bit odd, and would be considered offensive if he were in a minority:)
8 Themes, third paragraph: "Many of these ideas are repeated by Henry V where Henry V attributes ignorance and vice to oppression." The word "where" seems a bit odd here and almost begs the question as to where he makes this attribution.
9 Critical reception: the John Aikin paragraph relies too heavily on quotations and could use a bit of paraphrasing, as could some of the other reviews listed in the section.
Over all, the article is thorough and provides an excellent discussion of the subject matter with clear wording and reliable sources. If more sources are available, they would help, but as it stands I feel that it is referenced enough to be credible. It also meets guidelines of neautrality and stability, and since there are no images presented, there can be no problems in that arena. It is hard to find images for every poem, so I can't really fault it for not having pictures of a poem, though any found that relate to the subject would help with appearence.
