Yes, that seems quite serious, especially since it's been there for years. Someone should at the very least go through and paraphrase it. TastyCakes (talk) 22:59, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Views on taxation?

My understanding is that John Malone is quite anti-tax and has engineered his companies to take advantage of accounting strategies that allow for asset growth with minimal to no taxable income. I think these views and actions are one of the really interesting things about him, and I assume it's why he names his companies "Liberty" and structures them as he does. With that in mind, I'm not an expert on BLP and don't want to add anything that isn't both appropriate to the scope of the article and well-sourced. But I do think this article would benefit from some good references to his taxation views and strategies. Thomas Craven (talk) 14:24, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Catholic

The zillions of media personalities who are of Jewish origin are mentioned, so why mention that Malone is a catholic? I've got a source for it, so I'll go ahead and post it. Not logged in 2 (talk) 21:34, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
