I'll take a look at this one, will post review in the next day or so. Kosack (talk) 08:40, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Initial review:

Infobox

[edit]
  • Source needed for her full name and height.
  • The manual of style at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players would suggest not to use hyphens when displaying national youth teams in the infobox, I.e. U-20 > U20.

Lead

[edit]
  • Per WP:PRECISELANG, avoid using terms such as "currently" that can become out of date. She plays as would be more suitable.
  • I think it's typical for the club to come before the country when listing who the player represents.
  • Link friendly to Exhibition game.
  • Link final to 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Final.
  • Currently used again in the third paragraph, try and swap that out.

Early life

[edit]
  • Perhaps I'm missing it, but what's the source for her being raised by her sister?
  • "Johnston sisters switched to play for Sereno Soccer Club in Phoenix Julie played for the 92's and Melanie played for the 90's.", this sentence needs a break somewhere, perhaps a comma after Phoenix would help?
  • I'm assuming 92's and 90's refer to the year the players were born?
  • The comma after professional teams isn't needed.
  • The birthplaces don't match between the Infobox and Early Life.

Santa Clara Broncos

[edit]
  • "Ertz started all 21 games which led the Broncos with nine goals and four assists", sentence is a bit confusing, did the 21 games or the goals and assists lead the team?
  • NSCAA is linked in the second paragraph but there is a mention in the first, link the first mention instead.

Chicago Red Stars

[edit]
  • Link Chicago Red Stars, first time the team is mentioned outside the lead.
  • I've never seen that win-loss record template used before, is that standard for US women's articles?
  • Link FIFA Women's World Cup to the relevant World Cup page.
  • "She made 11 appearances for the Red Stars during the 2015 season, playing 990 minutes. The Red Stars finished second in the regular season with a 8–3–9 record and advanced to the playoffs.", what's the source for these two sentences?
  • Third paragraph is unsourced.
  • First sentence of the fourth paragraph is unsourced.

Youth national teams

[edit]

First caps

[edit]
  • Link national team to the USWNT.
  • Link Scotland to Scotland women's national football team.
  • Canada women's team is linked in the third paragraph but not the second. Move the link to the first mention.
  • Does qualifying need the capital letter in the fourth paragraph?

2015 FIFA Women's World Cup

[edit]
  • Link French and Japanese women's teams.

Honours

[edit]
  • First honour is unsourced.

References

[edit]
  • Refs 75, 76 and 77 need an author.

That's all I've found for now. Placed on hold. Kosack (talk) 14:07, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Iggy the Swan: Hi, this has been on hold for over a week now, has any progress been made? Kosack (talk) 05:44, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Kosack: - I forgot to mark these as  Done, this edit shows what I've done to it so far. Iggy (Swan) 10:02, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Iggy the Swan: Have you got more to do or is this ready for another look? Kosack (talk) 15:15, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Kosack: - ready for another look. I have checked this carefully, believing that a good number of points over the review has been checked and ticked. Iggy (Swan) 16:07, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Follow up review

[edit]

Infobox

[edit]
  • Still need a source for her height.
  • The birthplaces don't match in the Infobox and the Early Life.

Honours

[edit]
  • "MAC Hermann Trophy Semi-finalist", I'm not acquainted with American sports that much but is being a semi-finalist an honour?

References

[edit]
  • The U.S. Soccer website references are formatted in three different ways, U.S. Soccer, US Soccer and ussoccer. Maintain one style for consistency. Only appears to affect refs 85 onwards.
  • Ref 87 needs a publisher and access date.
  • Refs 86 and 88 need a publisher.
All  Done with these points. I have never seen an honour which lists a semi-finalist as this is nothing of a major trophy for instance unlike the winner's trophy in leagues/cups. That has been removed. Iggy (Swan) 10:05, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A handful of minor issues to sort, nothing major, and this is ready for promotion I think. Kosack (talk) 06:51, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm happy that this meets the GA criteria following the issues that were fixed above. Promoting. Kosack (talk) 17:29, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
