@Nvvchar: Will review. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 05:23, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • Why is the name in italics while heading is not? It is not uniform in the text either.
  • Fixed. Both are italics.
  • Do not use citations in the lead. Use them only in main text.
  • Indeed. I moved some text and all sources from the lead into the main article. I had to move some text so that nothing in the lead appears unsourced/unsupported in the main article.
  • Upanishads linked twice.
  • Fixed.

Etymology

[edit]
  • Who is Deussen?
  • Added, wikified and source there verified

Chronology

[edit]
  • Link Shiva and Hinduism as they are first mentioned.
  • Done by @Nvvchar

Structure

[edit]
  • What is a poetic meter?
  • It should have been Vedic meter, wikified and added explanation
  • Duplinks: Mundaka Upanishad and Shvetashvatara Upanishad
  • thus referencing them, yet building Comma should be replaced with "And".
  • Done by @Nvvchar

Content

[edit]
  • Only one duplink : Brahma.
  • Done by @Nvvchar
  • translate Deussen and other scholars other scholars is vague, how about et. al.?
  • Fixed
  • You forget to mention "states the text" in places ,it is almost as if you are saying all this. Introduce that phrase regularly.
  • Done by @Nvvchar

Commentaries

[edit]
  • Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan translated it in his 1953 book The Principal Upanishads. No source for this?
  • Added
  • published first in 1971 "first published".
  • Done by @Nvvchar
@Sainsf: Thanks for the review. Your detailed review and points were helpful. @Nvvchar: Please double check my edits and if I missed anything or duplinks, please fix. Also, both @Redtigerxyz and you started this article a year ago, an initiative that is commendable. [[User:@Sainsf:|Ms Sarah Welch]] (talk) 00:44, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
