Disputed definition

I've lived in 5 different Western U.S. states for the last 59 years and it's always been: "Dish towels are cloth usually cotton fairly thin and used for drying dishes. "Paper towels " are just what they sound like, come on a roll and are used for almost everything but drying dishes, indeed they suck at this. "Tea towels" are towels presumably for drying dishes but mostly used for decorating by hanging in the kitchen where they very well might match the curtains. The tea towels themselves usually come with lace borders and/or embroidery work. And are almost never used for drying dishes. 168.92.228.50 (talk) 05:48, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
