Talk:Klebsiella terrigena
Appearance
Since Klebsiella terrigena was renamed Raoultella terrigena by Drancourt et al. in 2001, this later nomenclature has been adopted and is currently in use. Searches with both names in PubMed and Web of Science show that most publications now use Raoultella terrigena. The last paper reviewing the taxonomy of Klebsiella/Raoultella and which described a new species for the genus, Raoultella electrica, by Kimura et al. in 2014 , also uses Raoultella terrigena. It is also the name used by NCBI's Taxonomy, and by the DSMZ’s Prokaryotic Nomenclature Up-to-date (PNU) database.
