Landing Zone English North
[edit]According to https://www.helis.com/database/gps/lz_english_north_v1/, Landing Zone English North was different from Langding Zone English. Furthermore, LZ English North stayed in Hoài Thanh Tây, LZ English stayed in Hoài Tân, and LZ Two Bits stayed in Bồng Sơn.
So I think we need a separate article for Landing Zone English North, and use LZ Bồng Sơn name for LZ Two Bits. Leemyongpak (talk) 07:10, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Helis is not WP:RS, find a more reliable source and we can consider it. Two Bits was not called Bong Son. Mztourist (talk) 04:51, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, we can see on both two maps of Operation Thayer, LZ Two Bits was labelled BONG SON. I think source from U.S. Department of the Army is reliable enough. Leemyongpak (talk) 05:42, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- And on the unique map of Battle of Tam Quan, we can see LZ English North in the middle of LZ Tom and LZ English, along National Route 1. The map also comes from a reliable source: US Army Center of Military History Leemyongpak (talk) 05:49, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- We can't just rely on a map. You need to find a WP:RS like Kelley's Where we were in Vietnam that specifies grid reference or coordinates. Mztourist (talk) 08:55, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
