Talk:Lantea
Name of the planet
[edit]Hi.
Where was it stated that the name of the planet is "Lantea", anyway? I always thought it was Atlantis, being named after the city. 74.38.35.171 21:55, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- It was never, it should be at "ATLANTIS, PLANET OF" and the only source of the article agrees.--FlammingoHey 03:56, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Actually, in one of the last episodes of season 3, either "First Strike" or "Submersion", Sheppard calls the planet Lantea.

- Well, those haven't aired here yet in the USA, but if that's so, I guess then it's right. A silly name, yes, but also, sadly, canon. :( Thanks. mike4ty4 19:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Silly? I like the name, short and to the point. Lantea, the planet, thus Lanteans.

Where, again, was the planet called Lantea? The article says it was in The Return, Vala says it was First Strike or Submersion..which is it? I don't recall this particular term, and I'd like to check it. JBK405 (talk) 05:45, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
It's in First Strike when Sheppard says "Lantea has some pretty sizable asteriods" before they get the idea to block the satellite weapon's beam with an asteriods. It's also mentioned in Adrift in a dialog something like "We took some damage while leaving Lantea".

Oh, okay. We'll need to change the article then. JBK405 (talk) 17:26, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
