dadiburjori, Laubuca Menon [A. G. K.] 1952:2, Fig. 1 [Records of the Indian Museum (Calcutta) v. 49 (pt 1); ref. 12707] Cochin, Kerala, India. Holotype: ZSI F541/2. Paratypes: (5) ZSI F542/2 (4). Type catalog: Menon & Yazdani 1968:106 [ref. 20743]. Species misspelled dadidurjori (in main species heading); dadiburjori is correct and was selected by anonymous (April 1953) in Water Life and aquaria world v. 8 (no. 2): 85, and by Dadiburjor 1955 [ref. 20606] (also by Bănărescu 1968) and see Kottelat (2013). •Valid as Chela dadiburjori (Menon 1952) -- [sometimes as dadyburjori] (Bănărescu 1968:61 [ref. 215], Talwar & Jhingran 1991:314 [ref. 20764], Rema Devi et al. 1996:130 [ref. 24021], Menon 1999:37 [ref. 24904] as dadiburjori, Arankumar 2000:123 [ref. 30363] as dadyburjori, Sado & Kimura 2005:20 [ref. 28197]). •In genus Laubuca -- (Fang et al. 2009:7 [ref. 29983]). •Valid as Laubuca dadiburjori Menon 1952 -- (Kulabtong et al. 2012:93 [ref. 32008] as dadyburjori, Knight 2015:529 [ref. 33931] as dadyburjori). •Valid as Neochela dadiburjori (Menon 1952) -- (based on placement of the type species by Kottelat 2013). Current status: Valid as Neochela dadiburjori (Menon 1952). Cyprinidae: Danioninae. Distribution: India.
