Accounting talent required[edit]

The term general ledger plays a large part in double-entry accounting so we have not even begun to touch on the main use of this term. General ledger systems are a big product in computerized accounting. These are its modern uses, but the word also has a colorful past. However, only those who have had some accounting are going to understand this term. No disrespect to you others, but we need some such person with an interest in history on this one.Dave (talk) 10:17, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
