- "Second theory" was removed from the article. The derivation of line officers (Shortened from "Officers of the Line") is well-established and preceeds modern management theory by quite a bit.
- Limited Duty Officers can be line or staff. Not just line.
- Ach! Ya got me. Yep, LDOs can be Staff officers, as well. We'll call it a Snipe-centric viewpoint and move on. -- Izuko
- I don't see why Restricted Line was removed.
