Talk:List of Academic Abstracting and Indexing Organizations
This could turn out to be a long list. I believe that many entries may be deserving of their own article, as many of these organizations have been around for a long time - 50-100 years, perhaps longer. I admittedly do not know a lot about them, but I think it is pretty clear this is a subject that is not covered much on wikipedia but has a lot of potential.--Paraphelion 12:56, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Also, I am not sure I should include the websites for each organization next to each entry, or what. I know this isn't supposed to be just a collection of links.--Paraphelion 12:58, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Another thing.. maybe there is a better title for this list.--Paraphelion 13:40, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]There is a much better list of much the same sort of thing at List of academic journal search engines. Not sure of best title (neither seems quite right, somehow)... - but I do think a merger is a good idea. I'll start by making sure all the organisations mentioned here are in that other list. - I've merged them into Bibliographic database for the time being.DGG 01:31, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
