Talk:List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force villains
Merge
[edit]This page is a classic example of some editors being unable to understand the show's humor. This is just a list of some of the villains (aka minor characters) from the show, who are jokingly referred to by this silly name in one episode. It is not actually the name of a distinct group of characters. These characters should be merged into the fuller article, which itself needs work.-Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 18:17, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- I might also support creating a new article called "List of villains in Aqua Teen", since the show is pretty formulaic and nearly every episode has a clear "villain." My point is, this specific article is not well-conceived.-Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 04:15, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- But they're actually a group of villains. Not to mention that they're the only villains who have appeared more than once. All the other characters on the "minor characters" page have all been one-shots. Belgium EO 22:43, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I am not convinced that they are really a "group of villains." This was just an episode that featured all the villains so far. I am leaning more toward creating "List of villains of ATHF" and merging this into it, with a note about the episode in question. -Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 23:20, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- In response to Belgium, the characters on the "minor characters" article may be one-shots, but the group itself was a one-shot, only appearing as a whole in one episode. You seem to be hypocritical in this sense.
- As for the merge (which I support in one way or another), I think a "villains" article should not be out of the question, but I would much rather see this merged (as originally proposed) with "minor characters", with the exception of Plutonians and Mooninites which, due to the number of appearances (and their presence in season three's cold openings), should go into "main characters", with Dr. Weird & Steve.:: ZJH (T C E) 13:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- If there were to be an article for significant characters (such as the stuff listed here, with the exceptions of the Mooninites and Plutonians), shouldn't it be more of a "guest" article, since I'm sure characters like Drippy, Major Shake, Romulox, and Dusty Gozongas would be featured there.
- Also, where would we cut the line? Would they have to be seen on-screen for a majority of the episode, and not be last minute characters (like the real Wisdom Cube, Ted Nugent, or the Wrench Aliens), or their presence somehow significantly triggered the episode? Pee Pants and the Cybernetic Ghost would obviously be there (maybe even moved to the main character page after the movie is released?), but what about characters like George Lowe, Cliff, the Gorgotron, Shake's hallucinations, etc. I'm guessing it would be mostly for extremely significant guests/villains/monsters (such as stuff listed here). But then again, I'm kinda split as to whether this should be merged with minor or whether a villain/guest page should be made. --Jopasopa 16:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Move (instead of merge)
[edit]I think that we should simply move the page to List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force villains instead of doing some kind of merge, and adding the villains on the minor characters article to it? :: ZJH (T C E) 20:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I wholeheartedly agree with this notion to move it to the Villians page. Whereas this group is full of minor characters, they ARE villains. -Andrew C
Walter Melon
[edit]Wasn't Walter melon the one who created the Aqua Teens and all of the other characters on his show, because they said that The Cybernetic Ghost was built by Dr. Weird, but wasn't he built by Walter Melon as well? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.227.23.177 (talk) 12:54, August 22, 2007 (UTC)
Twizzler?
[edit]I thought Carl's dog (The Enforcer) wanted his name to be Spaghetti, not Twizzler...
- It is. Someone keeps changing it to Twizzler. :: ZJH (T C E) 23:25, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Wongburger
[edit]I rephrased some of the description concerning the Mr. Wongburger character. I felt the frequent use of the word "dick" was slightly inappropriate, even if the character is a large penis. :o) SkittlzAnKomboz 21:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Oglethorpe and Emory
[edit]Rather than being named after two men, it is much more likely that the two were named after Oglethorpe University and Emory University, which are both Atlanta-area universities (Williams Street Studios being based in Atlanta). Thunderbunny 14:52, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Status Alive/Dead
[edit]Is this really relevant for this kind of show? The main characters repeatedly die in many episodes, I doubt any of the characters listed as dead are any more dead than Carl. 66.151.205.13 19:04, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Characters have even been ran over/burned and returned in the middle of the episode/movie without it being mentiong. It's not needed, and the only characters it's worth mentioning for are Jiggle Billy and Willie Nelson because there is some consistency regarding their status. --Jopasopa 00:14, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Major Shake
[edit]Should he be referred to as a villian? He dosn't threathen the aqua teens.
- He does show up as a member of Monday Tuesday Wednesday etc., but yeah, he never really does threaten the Aqua Teens. He was created to be an opponent, though.. And he's not really a friend of the Aqua Teens, and he's only been in two episodes.. I'd say 'villains' works, even if it doesn't completely fit MGlosenger 04:36, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Ol' Drippy
[edit]HShould he be considered a vilain? He was in Monday Tuesday etc... but he thought it was a baby shower. He also saved Shake from being hit by a truck. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Grayjack (talk • contribs) 22:37, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I see your point, but they are villains. It's part of the twisted humor of the show that some of the villains don't know they are villains or don't act like villains. Highonhendrix 04:16, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Character list
[edit]Why did we bring this article back? There isn't enough real-world information to support it. Kamek (Koopa wizard!) 18:44, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
