[edit]This is a list of musicians rather than an article. All the musicians have been linked, though most links are red.
In my opinion, this list has been wikified to the degree it can be. Therefore, I am removing the wikify tag. KarenAnn 21:45, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
20% of these names must be removed, since they are no serious singers, only one-time-singers with one song or something.
Other musicians in this list
[edit]There is allsow other musicians in this list that is not Assyrians. If you are serious: look first at the bakground of the person and then write. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.66.239.125 (talk) 20:37, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
work needed
[edit]Common practice is that lists such as this are limited to those notable enough for Wikipedia articles, as shown either by having them, or by being clearly eligible,. The list needs considerable trimming. DGG ( talk ) 00:18, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Merger Proposal

- The result of this discussion was to merge. I proposed it over a week ago and no on either page expressed an opinion one way or another. Ninos2576 (talk) 00:58, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
I propose to merge List of Assyrian musicians into List of ethnic Assyrians/Chaldeans/Syriacs. I think that the content in the former article does not warrant its own separate Wikipedia page, since the list of ethnic Assyrians/Chaldeans/Syriacs page keeps a list of all notable Assyrians in all fields, including music. Furthermore, even though the List of ethnic Assyrians/Chaldeans/Syriacs page has a section for Assyrians in all fields of notability (politics, athletic, media, business, etc) when you get to the musicians and composers section, it just redirects to this page. I don't see why we can't just put this list under the musicians and composers section since it's currently empty with the exception of a redirect to this page. Thank you.
