Thers alot of wrong info in this page ie:Roygaris Ursuul:It remains a question whether Roygaris has some connection to the Dark Hunter haunting Ezra's Wood. it states in the book that he made it. Ezra the Mad: He became immortal and resides in the Antechamber of the Mystery. he tells kylar that to bring him back to life faster he will have to give up a certain amount of years (i cant remember exactly) of the little life he has left. forgive any spelling grammer errors, i failed english.

Fictional Misery[edit]

I enjoyed Weeks' excellent writing in 'The Way of Shadows'. This is an author who made me care about his characters, and therein lies my problem;looking at the list of characters and their fates, it seems he out-Martins GRR in his treatment of some of those I liked the best; for example, innocent little Jenine Gunder/Gyre who is 'killed' on her wedding night, revived and given as concubine to the God-king, then wed to and impregnated by Dorian Ursuul both the usual way and again magically with Elene and Kylar's son – then presented at last to Logan; his trembling virgin bride returning as some pretty used goods and at 16, older, wiser and more experienced in bed than her husband. Seems as if there's no happy, or at least tolerable, ending here for anyone!

Life’s trouble enough without fiction that depresses. If I want that, I’ll re-read ‘Dover Beach’ or its more modern companion in sorrow, ‘Chesil Beach’.
