Remove YouTube Spotlight from this list?

Does YouTube give itself Diamond Play Buttons? It wouldn't seem likely. I mean, why would they do such a thing.

Aren't there many YouTube channels with so many subscribers? This one is only on the list of the highest subscribed YT channels because it's where they upload the videos that they produce. I don't think they'd give themselves DPBs for each channel with over 10 million. No other YT channel is on the list. Chrisrus (talk) 19:56, 12 July 2016 (UTC)

Without some reason to believe that YouTube did award itself a diamond play button, YouTube Spotlight should be removed. Chrisrus (talk) 15:42, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

A possbile save

Maybe we can change the list to who got the play button first, then the last person is the latest person to get 10 million subs.--JJBers (talk) 15:53, 10 August 2016 (UTC)

@JJBers: How do we know if they got a Play Button but the channel owner didn't bother to tell anyone? We could add a column (possibly in the other article) stating when the channel got to 10m, if we have the data. Is Vsause British?

It has a UK flag for Vsause, but it's all in American English. Chrisrus (talk) 14:29, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

After doing some research, I'm pretty sure that Vsauce was born and raised in the USA, and later lived in the UK. Because of this, I changed it to a US flag. Clbsfn (talk) 18:56, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
