Anti-folk is not a genre and this should be deleted.

I don't think there is anything here or the anti-folk page which states anti-folk is a genre. It is what it is -- and people are interested in it. Maybe the anti-folk page should do a better job of what it is, but just because it is not a genre does not mean it should be deleted. Hogan (talk) 23:53, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know I don't think Tenacious D is an anti-folk artist... can anyone back this up? Alright, I love most of the artists here, but would never lump some of them into the amazingness that is anti-folk. Sure, "Hey There Delilah" is an anti-folk song, but the bulk of Plain White T's is not. When I give a cd to people of anti-folk music, "Hey There Delilah" and "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" both make it, but their respective artists are certainly not anti-folk. Anti-folk is Regina Spektor, Jaymay, and Feist, not The Strokes. --the authentic david christians (talk) 19:18, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the Strokes are one of the bands on this list that do makes sense to me, since I have seen them at the sidewalk. Regina even toured with them and did a song with them. Hogan (talk) 21:57, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
