Add EU

[edit]

Can someone add EU please.

3 - European Union - 3,103,000,000,000 - 2007 est. 83.108.202.186 (talk) 23:57, 14 September 2009 (UTC) The Wiki site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_policy_of_China shows Chinese electricity as 3.71465 trillion kWh by 2009, 15% up on the 2008 figure given. I don't know if that rate has been maintained since.[reply]

Electricity production per year?

[edit]

Is this the total electricity production, or electricity production per year? It just states kWh, which is a measure of energy, not of energy / time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.125.58.22 (talk) 12:39, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article out of date

New information is available at https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2038rank.html -- G.A.Stalk 04:56, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CIA Factbook is not the best source. There are Energy Information Administration [1], but they are from 2009 (and 2008) only. I can update with these. --Jklamo (talk) 21:03, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for the Production and source table

[edit]

First off, let me thank the people who made the existing chart, outstanding information, with amazing button interaction, among the best work I've seen on Wikipedia (which is truly saying something). However, I would like to make the chart even better by perhaps adding a "per capita" column (watts per person in that country), expanding the "renewable resources" column (Wind, Geothermal, PV, solar thermal, biogas, etc.), and maybe updating it to 2013 or adding more countries. I would make these changes myself, but am far too afraid of damaging the existing table (and with my luck certainly would). I truly love this exceptionally informative, interactive chart, and would like to make it even better. Again, whoever created this chart, many thanks. You continue to make Wikipedia the best reason for the internet to exist :) 107.19.89.19 (talk) 23:15, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
