Either merge or 1 genetics + 1 biochemistry. Almost everyone here is one or the other--for the few notable in both, they can go on both lists. DGG 06:55, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thank TB Hecht

for his excellent work in adding so many. DGG 07:10, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

wording of title

[edit]

Should the page titles for this entire category be changed to "List of notable chemists [etc]. It makes the purpose clearer , and differentiates them from category, which is simple and automatically all the chemists who happen to have actual pages here.? List of notable... is used for many other similar purposes. I suppose we in science can be distinctive and use ours the way it is, but it would be useful to have it said explicitly.DGG 04:00, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

most notable

[edit]

This extraordinarily excellent list might benefit from some indication of relative importance--perhaps a separate list?DGG 21:13, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

There are a great many red links in this list, indicating people that by Wikipedia conventions are not notable. Some of them probably do need articles, and someone should create them. For the moment I shall do nothing, but I'll come back in, say, October 2023 to see if the situation has improved. Athel cb (talk) 14:56, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
